Music: Richard Strauss, Hugo Wolf, Vincenzo Bellini, Franz Liszt, Francis Poulenc, Joseph Haydn, Murphy
The Opera Box return with their series of staged song recitals and welcome back soprano Milly Forrest with pianist Alastair Chilvers.
Hear new spins on the repertoire’s most loved and well-known pieces – minus ball gown and black tie, and with added elements of staging that get to the core of the pieces.
Milly Forrest recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Music and is now studying a Masters at the Royal College of Music. She made her debut at Wigmore Hall last year. Alastair is the Lucille Graham Opera Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music.
Live piano music, performed in the original language (with translation sheets)
