Today, Eddie is holding a memorial for his brother at a park near their council estate. Today is also the day Paige decides to close the road leading to this countryside sanctuary as part of a protest.

Naturally, when the pair meet, sparks fly. Insults are traded, tempers flare, and they expect never to see each other again. But they do. Again. And again. And again.

As their lives keep colliding, first impressions begin to shift and unlikely connections form. But with pressure mounting from friends, family and the world around them, both Eddie and Paige are forced to question what they believe, who they trust, and how far they’re prepared to go for each other.
