Our captioned performances are specially designed to provide access for deaf and hard of hearing audiences, as well as those who benefit from text-based access such as non-native English speakers or people who find it easier to follow text than sound.Whether you’re looking for captioned theatre in London, deaf-accessible performances, or inclusive theatre experiences, you’ll find a welcoming home at Arcola Theatre.
Upcoming Captioned Performances
We regularly offer captioned performances across a wide range of our productions. These are live shows where a caption unit displays the performers’ words, as they are spoken or sung, alongside descriptions of sound effects, music and other key audio elements.
We’re continually updating our list of captioned performances. Check back regularly or contact our Box Office for up-to-date information.
