Head of Technical & Production

Arcola Theatre is seeking a skilled, passionate and organised individual to be our Head of Production and Technical. To provide production management and technical support for all Arcola produced and co-produced shows and support visiting companies.

This is a full time role, based at Arcola Theatre, E8 3DL. The salary range is £36,000 – £41,000 depending on experience.

Press & Media Manager

Arcola Theatre is seeking a strategic, passionate and organised individual to be our Press & Media Manager. An integral part of the Marketing and Communications team, who work to engage, diversify and increase Arcola Theatre’s audiences, drive sales, and promote the organisation and its productions. 

The Press & Media Manager will plan and deliver PR campaigns for all of Arcola Theatre’s in-house productions, as well as securing general coverage and features throughout the year, to build brand awareness amongst audiences and the sector. They will have strong relationship building skills, excellent knowledge of the press & media landscape and processes, and demonstrable experience in crafting compelling communications campaigns.

Development & International Distribution Manager

As we continue to grow our reach and impact globally, we are seeking an experienced Development and International Distribution Manager to lead our fundraising initiatives, and drive international productions of Arcola shows. The Development and International Distribution Manager will be responsible for securing and managing international productions of Arcola Theatre’s shows. This includes building relationships with international partners, planning detailed touring schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring smooth logistical operations. Additionally, the role will involve securing fundraising and international corporate sponsorships that will support both in-house and international productions financially. This is a pivotal position, contributing to Arcola’s mission to extend its reach globally and make our productions accessible to audiences around the world.

This is a full time role, based at Arcola Theatre, E8 3DL. The salary range is £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience.

Freelance Technicians

We are looking for skilled theatre Technicians to join our freelance technical pool, particularly those with a broad skillset encompassing lighting and sound and good at problem solving particularly under pressure. 

You will work as part of Arcola’s Technical team as a duty technician overseeing the delivery of afternoon and evening performances. You will also be part of the team helping to deliver Arcola’s new work and maintaining the technical provision in our theatre.
