Arcola Theatre has received 3 nominations in this year’s shortlist for the OffWestEnd Awards.
David Acton, Ammar Duffus, George Kemp, Beth Lily, Michael Lyle and Ellie Nunn are nominated for Best Company Ensemble for their performances in The Game of Love and Chance. This was Arcola’s first inhouse production at our new performance space Arcola Outside.
Mark Stone has been nominated in the Best Opera Performance category for his performance as Wotan in Die Walküre at Hackney Empire, part of Grimeborn 2021. This marked our first foray at Hackney Empire, and was the second in our instalments of Wagner’s Ring Cycle.
Barefoot Opera’s production of Orfeo ed Euridice / Zanetto at Arcola Outside as part of Grimeborn 2021 is also a finalist for Best Opera Performance.
Winners will be announced on 17 February 2022.
