Theatre Uncut 2013

24 November, 5pm

Theatre Uncut was created to get people thinking, talking and taking action on the events that are happening in the world around them. The idea is simple. Playwrights from a selection of countries are asked to write brand new short plays in response to their current political situation. These scripts are then made available for anyone to perform anywhere for a limited period.

Theatre Uncut is run by artistic directors Emma Callander and Hannah Price. To find out theatre uncut imagehow you can get involved please visit the Theatre Uncut website.

The Arcola Theatre will be staging a selection of the Theatre Uncut plays with an invited company of actors and directors in Studio 1, and we hope you will join us in the bar too for a drink and discussion after the showing.

The event is free but please book your tickets to reserve a spot.

We ask for audience members to make small donations (suggested donation of £5) on the door on a pay what you can basis, 80% of which will be going to Amnesty International.
