Once again Arcola Theatre Tent hosts a weekend of vibrant youth theatre performances as part of East London’s annual, Five Boroughs Youth Theatre Festival.

Experience a new take on the contemporary world; all performances have been devised and scripted by young people – stories of fathers once there and now disappeared, of the war on terror and its impact on the lives of East London families.

Underground poets fight to be heard, refuse to be silenced or controlled. There are insights, conflicting emotions and motivations of those trying to ‘make it’. A question is posed – where do we really encounter savagery and brutality, conviviality and beauty?
