His critically acclaimed play When you cure me ran at the Bush last year where he is currently under commission. He is also writing a play under attachment at the National Theatre studio and his play Fanny and Faggot will be revived in January 2007 by the Finborough theatre. STACY is Hamish Pirie’s first production following a year as the Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse having previously been ACE Assisant Director at Paines Plough, where he met Jack Thorne.
