SCREEN ACTING – CONSENTING ADULTS

Perfect your skills for the silver screen. This masterclass offers a thorough and practical introduction to acting on camera.

Develop your confidence in performing for film and TV, in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Learn what life on set is like, increasing your knowledge of terminology; and numerous skills and techniques used by professionals. Practice your screen rehearsal process and learn practically through on-camera exercises to hone your performance.

This workshop is led by director, teacher and Arcola Participation Manager, Bec Martin-Williams.

Bec trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, and has a BA from the University of New South Wales and a Masters in Shakespeare and Education from the University of Birmingham – Shakespeare Institute. She has taught in Australia and the UK at many institutions such as The Royal Shakespeare Company, The University of Birmingham, NIDA and the Australian Theatre for Young People.
