. Psychedelic Comedy.
Alternative comedians and Rebel Bingo hosts, Robin and Partridge (as seen on BBC Three and heard on BBC 6music and Radio 4) attempt to bring their show of improvised, interactive festival weirdness to a Studio in Dalston. It might not work, but its what they do best and it will be weird. You’ll probably touch someone you don’t know. LET’S GET WEIRD.
Whilst their ‘traditional’ comedy set is packed full of sketches, comedy and nonsense, and was picked by BBC and SouthBank to represent their best of the fringe experience 2014 shows, their music festival shows are their favourite work. Creative, joyful, full of audience interaction and freedom, their psychedelic festival shows have seen them create 2000 person massage chains, spontaneous life drawing classes, rural rebirth ceremonies, and mud wrestling masterclasses. It even got them work hosting a stag party for Jarvis Cocker, a 21st birthday for Daisy Lowe and officiating the wedding ceremony for YBA Gavin Turk. Robin and Partridge have performed at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Bestival, Wilderness, T in The Park, Lovebox, Camp Bestival, Port Elliot and many more, and following a good hosing down will be bringing their festival weirdness to a studio theatre in Dalston. This is psychedelic comedy. Let’s Get Weird.
