You’re getting to be a big girl now, you gotta keep yourself more, you can’t be so friendly, kid.


1950’s New York. Eddie Carbone, an illiterate longshoreman live in Red Hook, Brooklyn with his long suffering wife Beatrice and his beautiful young niece Catherine, who they have raised since childhood.


The balance of their lives is shattered when Beatrices two cousins arrive, as illegal immigrants, in the hope of finding work and building a better future for themselves. Catherine is charmed by the vivacious Rodolpho driving the over protective Eddie into jealousy and obsession with tragic results.


A View from the Bridge is a powerful, passionate and gripping drama which reveals the tensions in a tight knit community.
