“Ch’lsi” is Mapudugun, the Mapuche language, for moonlight and is a creative work based on traditional Mapuche folklore transforming the magical Mapuche world into contemporary Dance theatre. This dance-theatre piece explores the uneasy relationship between the dominant culture and ancestral heritage. Projection mapping evokes the mythical and real worlds of the piece; Ch’lsi weaves between generations past and the generations to come.
