How It Ended, the debut piece from physical theatre company YOU NEED ME, is a tender and tragic exploration of marriage in an era of uncompromising expectations.
Staged in the round with live music, the company of international actors play with traditional storytelling techniques to explore a true story of cultural alienation and loneliness. The focus shifts from Wales during the Second World War to France in the immediate aftermath of liberation, keeping at its centre the fierce fading of a wartime romance.
A hauntingly intimate story of love in decline.
Nominated for The Stage Awards and the Total Theatre Awards at Edinburgh Fringe 08
