Hackney Divestment Debate: 42 Million Ways to Fight Climate Change

To stop dangerous climate change, we need to keep 80% of known fossil fuel reserves in the ground. Many pension funds, including Hackney Council, have investments in fossil fuel companies.

This event is a chance to discuss the issues around divestment – the withdrawal of investment in fossil fuels.
