In Spanish with English Surtitles

In association with Baraka Theatre

Selections from Lorca’s Plays and Poems
By Emily Lewis

“Cuando está Federico no hace ni frío ni calor, Hace Federico”
Jorge Guillén

Vividly capturing Lorca’s poetic lyricism, this devised piece combines extracts from across his diverse body of work. Threaded together with flamenco music, Hace Federico is not just for the aficionado, but an engaging exploration of Lorca’s timeless relevance and artistry.

After a sell-out run at the Arcola last summer with Amor de Don Perlimplín con Belisa en su jardín, Baraka Theatre returns with a new play in Spanish.
