Women Box is a triple bill of music theatre and opera co-produced by Size Zero Opera and the Ligeti Quartet celebrating the work of female composers through works celebrating the inclusion of Women’s Boxing in the Commonwealth Games, and the rise of the female conductor!

Size Zero Opera have commissioned Laura J Bowler and Jennifer Walshe to create two new operas for string quartet and mezzo soprano. Through collaborating with the ex Female World Champion Boxer, Cathy ‘The Bitch’ Brown and with emerging female conductors, these works celebrate the varying roles of women in modern society.
