Fulham Opera

Giuseppe Verdi

Directed by: Daisy Evans

Falstaff is the joyous and final opera by Giuseppe Verdi.

A sparkling comedy based on Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor and Henry IV Parts I and II, it crowned a career spanning more than fifty years, and was instantly hailed as a masterpiece.

Now director Daisy Evans brings the story to the present day, reimagining Verdi and Shakespeare’s characters with flair and wit.

This is a daring, delectable production from Fulham Opera, one of the UK’s premier independent professional companies.
