The Improsarios were founded by Tai Lawrence and then students at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and first performed in June 2008. They are a company of actors who take audience suggestions and improvise sketches, stories, games and plays.
Sometimes tragic, sometimes comic and always entertaining, they are quickly establishing themselves as one of London’s top improvisation companies.
Since 2008, they have performed at venues across London and the UK including The Lyric Studio in Hammersmith, The Old Vic Tunnels, The Century Club (with Stephen K. Amos), The Oubliette Arthouse (Mayfair and Southwark), The Queen of Hoxton and Brixton’s The Hootenanny. They have also performed at various festivals including Edinburgh, Brighton, The Nursery Theatre Festival, The I Am Joy Festival (Chicester) and The Secret Garden Party.
