This in-depth practical acting course is designed to develop a greater understanding of poetic drama and encourage a creative approach to solving the challenges involved in performing classical work. The course draws on dramatic material from both the Elizabethan and Jacobean periods enabling students to discover the connections and challenges that performing it presents.

This workshop is the ideal opportunity for those wishing to gain confidence in classical acting. Led by Shakespearean acting experts this course will help you unlock Shakespeare texts through both monologue and scene studies. Ideal for those preparing a classical speech for an audition or performers who would like to gain further understanding in approaching Shakespeare plays.
