Conceived and created by the award-winning Wilderness Festival and Superfly – co-creators of Bonnaroo and Outside Lands, two of America’s most prestigious festivals – Citadel is London’s brightest new festival; a refreshing one-dayer that aims to combine the finest music, food, theatre, arts and entertainment to reflect the cream of the city’s talent.
After a successful inaugural chapter in 2015, Citadel is back for 2016 with an impressive headliner in the form of acclaimed Icelandic post-rock outfit Sigur Rós. Indie label and promoters Communion and visionary tastemakers Soundcrash also return to curate their respective stages. Elsewhere, there’s speakers and debates at the Sunday Papers Live, the finest food at our long table feasts and street stalls, arts and crafts workshops, and even a Sports Day to indulge your competitive side…
