Arcola are pleased to announce a new 8 week workshop programme for people affected by early stage dementia and their companions/carers!
Partnering with Arts4Demenita, these FREE workshops will see participants will work with facilitator and director Ross Crosby (Arcola, National Theatre, Old Vic and Almedia Theatre) using theatre, reminiscence and storytelling techniques to explore mind and well-being.
The result will feed into a larger, outdoor participatory project in the summer, led by Arcola, and supported by Hackney Council.
The project will run Tuesday mornings, 10.30am-midday on June 6, 13, 20, 27 and July 4, 11, 18 and 25th.

Arts 4 Dementia is a established charity helping to develop and co-ordinate dynamic high-quality events at arts venues as cognitive rehabilitation for families affected by dementia – from diagnosis.
