ArcolaLAB reading of The wind that sweeps away the dust by Lettie Precious

A message from the writer: “The play is fresh, it’s difference and takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. It will grip you from start to finish and leave you thinking about it for a long time. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry and most importantly teach you something new. I truly believe in this story and have received good feedback thus far. Please join us at the Arcola Theatre on the 9th of June 2017 at 2:30 pm and be witness to brilliant actors breathe life into a well deserving story. I would greatly appreciate your support and feedback.”

About the Play: The play is loosely based on true events. It is about a man living a double life and keeping a dark secret from his wife. When he suspects, his wife is plotting to leave him. He decides to take her on a make or break holiday in Zimbabwe, where her life will be changed forever. She will learn of his true identity and his connection to a mass genocide that occurred in the early 80s under Mugabe’s regime.

This is a work in development reading and spaces are limited. To reserve a seat please book via the link above.
