ArcolaLAB Reading: RHAPSODY

Ryan Calais Cameron

Directed by: Eva Owsiak

“Can true love even exist in these conditions”

RHAPSODY is a stripped back, honest, fly on the wall observation of “love” under some of the harshest circumstances, documenting it from its conception right into “happy ever after” and beyond. A play about two halves of a relationship: the first moment you fall in love with someone, and the realisation that comes when the bubble bursts and any chance of recovery may be lost. Rhapsody covers the themes of loyalty, mental illness, passion and pain as it looks to uncover.
