Afterbirth

by Dave Florez

14 year old Baz comes back from the care-home to meet his new baby brother and heal family rifts, yet he still can’t shake off the past. Time is against him as he searches for a way out and a family of his own.

Set on a north London estate, this is a raw, uncompromising and unflinching look at the invisible side of society. This is the world premiere of Afterbirth, Dave Florez’s first full length play.

by Dave FlorezDave Florez joined the Royal Court Young Writers’ Programme in 2000.
