AFRO DISCO : The Eye of Bamako

Welcome back to Afro Disco, where you can expect captivating, dancefloor-friendly music from the Diaspora!

Join us Bank Holiday Saturday 29th April till 3am!

We’ll be taking you on a rhythmic voyage across a range of genres from the darkest depths of Afro House to Highlife, Afrobeat and even a little bit of Funk & Soul.

YOU’LL BE JOINED BY…

Reverb Bistro
The new duo on the block – who represent a vibrant diversity of cultures from all corners of the globe. They’ve trotted all over the dance scene – from Brixton Jamm and Bussey Building to Shoreditch Platform and the long lost Passing Clouds.

Maxime Leroy (LIP SWEAT)
Thursday really is the new Friday when you catch him down at Ridley Road Bar where he hosts LIP SWEAT. If the bar’s cheap cocktails weren’t enough to transport you to the other side of the world then Maxime’s blends of AFROBEAT, DISCO & FUNK definitely are. We’re especially excited to see what this master of Vinyl has in store for us.

Manu
Unfortunately the other half of our dynamic duo has disappeared to the other side of the globe – but Manu’s holding it down with another fire set! His mad mix of Afro heaters are sure to add a real bang to the end your night.
