The orphaned children have travelled to the big city, far from their home. With the stories of Hansel and Gretel and the Babes in the Wood as a starting point, this short piece explores traditional fairy tale themes of good and evil and our modern moral codes and politics. We glimpse a child’s view of a frightening cityscape …what happens when the brave children are left alone in the high tech metropolis?

The Enchanted Forest is in trouble. Trees face the axe. Fairy pollen is vanishing. Magic is under threat. But never fear – help is on the way!
