Henry and Jake grew up with their mates in a quiet country town called Dulowl. A town where they forged friendships in bad habits and damp raves as they stumbled through adolescence looking for something to do. Then Henry moved away.
Now he’s back but there’s no enjoying a welcome-home-pint without facing up to the memories he left behind.

Henry Madd is a current writer in residence for Pentabus Theatre company, sponsored by the Film 4 and Peggy Ramsay bursary. Born in the West Midlands now operating in Margate, his work champions rural voices and small-town stories.
An award-winning poet, educator, and theatre maker, Madd is a former Kent Poetry Slam Champion. He performs across the UK and internationally, headlining slams, events and festivals.
This has led to him being commissioned by: The Marlowe Theatre (The Kit Heritage Project, A Poem For Canterbury), Canterbury Cathedral (Summer Storytelling), Half Moon Theatre (The Catastrophic Adventures Of Dollop And Crinkle), and Half A String Theatre Company (The Snowsmith).

Nic is Head of Theatre for the Pleasance Theatre Trust, overseeing the Trust’s theatre programme in London and at Edinburgh Fringe. He is a director, producer, and dramaturg whose recent productions include Kill Climate Deniers by David Finnigan (starring award-winning comedians Felicity Ward and Bec Hill).
Prior to this, he was Associate Producer at Arcola Theatre where he oversaw the theatre’s New Work and Community Engagement programmes, including the development of hit plays such as Clarion, Scenes from 68* Years (both Arcola Theatre), and Ali and Dahlia (Pleasance Islington, Best New Play, Writers Guild of GB).

Lauren Lambert-Moore is a director, stage manager and theatre maker. She is a graduate of Central Saint Martins. Lauren trained as an actor with East 15 Acting school and the National Youth Theatre. Lauren is passionate about working on female and queer led work. Munotida Chinyanga is an anti-disciplinary practitioner creating work primarily through direction and sound design. Her practice investigates how performance and sonic art can facilitate bringing together communities, especially in environments that do not have a constant connection to the arts, mediating dialogue that is cross cultural creating both sonic and performative experiences for audiences. Munotida has worked at venues/institutions such as the Young Vic, the Gate Theatre, Royal Exchange Manchester, National Theatre of Rome and, YIYUAN TANG Museum, China, supported by UKNA.

Matthew ‘Lux’ Swithinbank is a lighting technician and designer based in London, UK. As of March 2023, Matthew has been the technical manager at the Arcola Theatre in East London. Growing up in Luxembourg Matthew took a keen interest in theatre, most notably during his time at the European School there. During his time studying at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts — from which he graduated with a Ba(Hons) in Technical Theatre in 2013 — Matthew started designing lights for fringe shows, including Palimpsest One at Upstairs at the Gatehouse in Highgate, and Dead Funny at The Old Red Lion in Islington. Since completing his degree, Matthew has worked on a multitude of productions, from plays to musicals, and even one national corporate event tour. Although theatre lighting is his passion, Matthew also works regularly as a technician on live events, nightclubs and permanent installations.
