Returning tickets

 

All sales are final and Arcola Theatre does not offer refunds on tickets. However:

  • You may exchange tickets for another performance of the same production by contacting the Box Office with no less than 24 hours notice before the currently booked performance is due to take place. All exchanges are subject to availability and a £3 transaction fee. To retain special offer discounts, the same offer must be available on the performance for which the ticket is being exchanged. If not, the difference between the discounted price and full price, in addition to the transaction fee, will be due.

  • If a performance is sold out we may be able to return your ticket for credit vouchers. Please contact the Box Office before 6pm on the day of the performance. After this, returns can only be processed in person. Returns are never guaranteed. All successfully returned tickets will be exchanged for credit, which can be used in a future transaction with Arcola Theatre for 6 months from the crediting date. Please note that after this time, any unused credit is donated to Arcola Theatre’s charitable work.


Purchasing returned tickets

 

If a show is sold out, you can join the waiting list for returns by phoning or visiting the Box Office from 1pm on the day of the performance. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can request.

If tickets become available before 5:30pm, a member of our team will contact you via phone. Tickets are resold on a first come, first served basis; if we are unable to contact you on the first attempt, the next person on the list will be contacted.

After 5:30pm, returned tickets can only be issued in person. Members of the waiting list will be given priority if they check in at the box office and remain in the building.

We never know how many return tickets there may be, and we cannot guarantee there will be any at all. Please note that returns are always less likely towards the end of a show’s run.
