Arcola Academy presents ‘Elevate’
Arcola Academy ‘Elevate’ is back!
Arcola Academy will welcome a new cohort of Hackney based creatives aged 18 – 25 to develop, expand, and explore theatre and performance as a professional pathway. This project invites emerging actors to spend a week here at Arcola Theatre, collaborating with peers and industry professionals to develop, rehearse and perform a showcase designed to ‘elevate’ their unique abilities as a performer.
This project includes the opportunity to:
- Perform at Arcola Theatre
- Work with industry led professionals to create a high quality showcase
- Workshops lead by industry professionals on tax for actors, casting and self taping
- Free ticket to see Jane Eyre here at Arcola Theatre
- Free ticket to see 54.60 Africa here at Arcola Theatre
- Free headshot taken by Charlie Flint
- Professionally shot monologue showreel footage
- £60 reimbursement towards food and travel expenses
- Expand your network and collaborate with like minded individuals

Applications are now open! Deadline for applications is Thursday 19th of June. Successful applicants will be notified on Friday 27th June.
