We’re pleased to announced that Arcola Theatre was voted ‘Most Welcoming Theatre’ in East London by the general public at the Offies award ceremony on Sunday 24th February. (more)The other winners for the other London regions were the New Diorama, Almeida Theatre, Brockley Jack Studio Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith and Battersea Arts Centre.
Thank you to all who voted. It’s a really positive award for Arcola as it’s come at the end of its renovation work at the Colourworks. There is still plenty to come this year including continuing improvements to the cafe bar where we’re now hosting regular evenings of music and a new food menu for March.
