Arcola’s Mental Health Theatre Group aims use theatre as a vehicle to tackle the stigma surrounding Mental Health.
The inclusive and forward-thinking group explore how to stage these issue theatrically, creating vital, engaging and thought-provoking shows. The group was created for those who are passionate about making a difference in their own lives and the lives of others, and through the presentation of their work, influence wider society’s perception of mental health. The group will go through a number of workshops starting in December 2018 that are used to share and listen to creative ideas that add to the theme of the production. This is lead by a creative team that will help shape the conversations into a full production in April 2018.
