Arcola Academy Winter Project 2023

Arcola Academy for ages 18-25 yrs.


With thanks to Hackney Council, Arcola Theatre are running a theatre training and development opportunity for people aged 18-25 years who live, work or study in Hackney. This is a financially supported theatre training programme and performance opportunity for young people who would like to gain experience in collaborative theatre making and the theatre industry. Participants can specialize in performance or stage management.
This term we will be co creating a short Christmas play with and for Hackney Primary School children. If you are looking to develop your performance skills and theatre training and are interested in working with children, then please get in touch!
The performer and stage manager positions have trainee fees thanks to Hackney Council which means you can learn and earn!

Arcola Academy provides young people with a vital springboard towards further education, employment or a career in the creative industries. Past participants include Lynette Linton (Artistic Director, Bush Theatre) and Arinze Kene (Misty, Bush Theatre and Trafalgar Studios).
