Honeypot Holmes and the Peculiar Case of the Disappearing Wildflowers @ Farmopolis

Directed by: Rebecca Martin-William

Arcola Theatre and Farmopolis presents Honeypot Holmes and the Peculiar Case of the Disappearing Wildflowers

Why are the wildflowers disappearing? How do we recognise the signs and what can we do to help? Join Honeypot Holmes, the renowned Bee Detective as she investigates the role of wildflowers in Britain’s eco-system and how we can all do our part to conserve our beautiful environment. So roll up your sleeves, pull on your wellies and make a bee-line for this fun-filled and educational journey!

This performance will take place as part of Farmopolis’ Great Plant Rescue Opening Party.  Opening to the public on Saturday 30th July, Farmopolis is rehoming tens of thousands of plants from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to create a pioneering new floating oasis and cultural hub for London. From 10am-11pm, guests are welcome to drop in to various events, relax and enjoy the space, or dine at the Farmopolis cafe which will be serving narrative driven and seasonal food and drink throughout the day. Day time activities are all child friendly, face-painting, a botanical jewellery class and dream potion making. Scholarly hi-jinx from Literary Death Match, live music curated by Mahogany sessions, workshops from Quodo and talks from Biomodd, will take us into the evening. Visitors will also be able to adopt a rescued plant from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show or propagate Chelsea’s Children in the House of Wayward Plants.
