Toy with toxic masculinity. Test your manhood. Try the trousers on for size. Arcola invites you to explore the world of drag king-ing, helping you to create your own unique drag persona.
Each two hour session will provide an environment in which to test your ideas and try new skills – from lip synching to contouring. For anyone interested in exploring the performativity of gender on stage, Drag King Workshop provides a supportive and dynamic environment in which to learn.
This workshop is led by producer, performer and Arcola Participation Coordinator Rach Skyer.
Thursday 1st November – Thursday 13th December*
8pm – 10pm
*Please note that there will not be a class held on Thursday 30th November
