Arts4Dementia Workshops

Arcola are pleased to announce a new 8 week workshop programme for people affected by early stage dementia and their companions/carers!

Partnering with Arts4Demenita, these FREE workshops will see participants will work with facilitator and director Ross Crosby (Arcola, National Theatre, Old Vic and Almedia Theatre) using theatre, reminiscence and storytelling techniques to explore mind and well-being.

The result will feed into a larger, outdoor participatory project in the summer, led by Arcola, and supported by Hackney Council.

The project will run Tuesday mornings, 10.30am-midday on June 6, 13, 20, 27 and July 4, 11, 18 and 25th.

Arcola Creative Engagement delivers one of London’s most extensive community engagement programmes, creating over 5000 opportunities every year for members of our community to take part in theatre.
