Looking to improve your vocal confidence for performance?
In this five week course, participants will learn practical exercises and tools to develop their vocal skills. They will begin their accent journey looking at the fundamentals of an accent including sounds, placement, intonation, and musicality. Using R.P. (Received Pronunciation) and General American as base points, this five week course will allow participants to expand on their understanding of Boston, Southern American, and New York accents; accents from Yorkshire, Liverpool, and Scotland; as well as accents of other countries such as Spanish, Italian, and French.
This course is led by voice and accent coach Emily Mawer.

Emily Mawer is a voice and accent coach and holds an MA in Voice Studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has taught voice and accents all over the world including; The Harrow School in Hong Kong, The Actors Temple, London College of Music, Central School of Speech and Drama, Drama Studio London, City Academy and D&B Academy of Performing Arts. She also works closely with individuals working on voice, accent and communication.
