5 Strangers is a work in progress show consisting of migrant stories, told and performed by some of the refugee and asylum seeking community at Hackney’s British Red Cross Day Centre.

At the end of January, London Connect Theatre began delivering the project Speak To Me: a series of theatre workshops combining acting, puppetry, music and movement sessions. Based on their unique stories, moving experiences and creative input, LCT helped devising the narrative for 5 Strangers.

London Connect Theatre (LCT) is a company created by four independent artists with expertise in performance, dramatherapy, theatre production, directing and workshop facilitation. We are passionate about making theatre that can positively impact society. Through performing arts and by exploring different groups and communities, we aim to challenge public perceptions and provide a platform that can help isolated communities integrate and connect with society.
