After the elections in Iran in 2009, Riksteatern and Swedish National Radio created a collection of radio plays, in Persian and Swedish, which they broadcast on national radio. The plays were dramatisations of real life stories, with the intention of helping to give strength to the struggle for democracy in Iran.

 

The UK has now developed and recorded these plays in English.  Join us to hear a selection of these short plays, followed by a panel discussion exploring the project, Iran, and human rights.

 

Panel includes: Mansour Hosseini, Riksteatern, Erica Whyman, Northern Stage, Drewery Dyke, Amnesty International.
