How To Date A Feminist

Book Now

22/11/2016–17/12/2016

Back in time for Christmas after a sold-out run, How To Date A Feminist is a hilarious new spin on the Hollywood romcom from Samantha Ellis (How To Be A Heroine).

Kate likes her men tall, dark and smouldering. She has a fatal attraction to bad men. Then she meets Steve… Steve is a feminist. Can she overcome her love of lipstick, cupcakes and Heathcliff? Can he forgo the ethical confetti and learn to be a little bit more ravishing in bed? Can the two of them reinvent romance for the 21st Century?

Featuring two proposals, two weddings, an elopement and a cast of unforgettable characters all played by two actors, this passionate modern love story returns to Arcola for four weeks only, following its sold-out premiere and national tour.

Matthew Lloyd – whose productions have included the Olivier-nominated Duet for One with Juliet Stevenson (Almeida, West End) and The Fastest Clock in the Universe with Jude Law (Hampstead Theatre) – directs the original cast.
