Arcola’s only audition based theatre group, the Academy is aimed at young people aged 16-25 who already have some experience and are now ready to take their skills to the next level.  Arcola Theatre accepts 15 members every year who work with a professional production team to create a full-scale production.  The Academy provides young people with a vital springboard towards further education, higher education, employment or a career in the creative industries. The Academy is open to young people living in Hackney and the surrounding boroughs.

Membership costs £40 for a 12 week term (£20 if receiving JSA).

Auditions for the next Academy production will take place in autumn 2013.
