Arcola introduces discounts for members of all major theatre trade unions

Arcola Theatre has extended concessions to include members of all the major theatre trade unions.

Equity, BECTU, Writers’ Guild (WGGB) and Stage Directors UK (SDUK) members will now be eligible for reduced-rate tickets on all shows with concession pricing.

Artistic Director Mehmet Ergen said, “Arcola couldn’t exist, and the theatre industry wouldn’t thrive, without the many people represented by theatre unions. I hope these concessions go some way to acknowledging their contributions, and to making Arcola’s work even more accessible.”

That’s excellent, but what about members of UK Theatre and The Casting Directors’ Guild?

  2. Hello,
Many thanks for doing this for our members. We’ve added it to our members’ discount list and are telling them about it.

  3. This is a great move, and is to be applauded. However, as a theatre photographer in the NUJ, I am apparently excluded. The NUJ is also a member of the FEU (Federation of Entertainment Unions) – is it possible to add us, please?
